Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has significantly outpaced former President Donald Trump’s in fundraising, raising over three times as much in September and surpassing the $1 billion mark in total. Harris’ campaign and affiliated groups raised $900 million between January 2023 and September 2024, compared to Trump’s $371.9 million. In September alone, Harris raised $221.8 million, while Trump raised $62.7 million. The Harris Victory Fund raised $633.2 million from July to September, while Trump’s National Committee JFC and Trump 47 Committee raised $194.5 million and $145.2 million, respectively. Harris’ fundraising surged after her debate with Trump on September 10, with $47 million raised in 24 hours. Despite Harris’ lead, Trump still holds an advantage with super PACs, which have raised $329.4 million for him compared to $256.6 million for Harris.
