Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., has joined Cameo, offering personalized video messages for a fee following his resignation from Congress and withdrawal from consideration for the role of Attorney General under President-elect Donald Trump, amid ongoing sexual misconduct allegations. Gaetz updated his profile on X, formerly known as Twitter, to include a link to his Cameo page and changed his location to “Find me on CAMEO!” His Cameo profile, which allows celebrities to sell custom videos, lists him as a “Former Florida Congressman” with video prices starting at $500 for various messages such as birthday greetings and motivational talks. Cameo CEO Steven Galanis confirmed the authenticity of Gaetz’s page to Forbes. Gaetz’s move to join the platform coincided with his announcement that he would not return to Congress after his recent resignation and his withdrawal from the Attorney General consideration amid calls for the release of a report on his alleged sexual misconduct.
