President Donald Trump says the war with Iran and the United States’ blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will continue unless Iran gives in, saying, “At this moment, there will never be a deal unless they agree that there will be no nuclear weapons.” It comes as Pentagon officials say the war has cost $25 billion so far during a tense hearing on Capitol Hill where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth faced criticism of the administration’s strategy.
