The suspect behind the infamous Gilgo Beach murders is expected in court Wednesday to change his plea to guilty, according to a source familiar with the matter. Rex Heuermann is accused of killing seven women and discarding their remains in a remote stretch of Long Island over nearly two decades. NBC’s Emilie Ikeda reports for TODAY.
