Matt Gaetz Gets Job On Conservative One America News Network

Former Representative Matt Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, is set to launch his own show on One America News (OAN), the conservative network announced on Tuesday. This development comes just weeks after Gaetz withdrew from consideration for the position of Attorney General in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
Gaetz will be the host of a one-hour nightly talk show titled “The Matt Gaetz Show,” which will air on weeknights at 9 p.m. EST starting in January, according to an OAN press release. The network praised Gaetz as a “relentless champion of conservative values,” known for challenging entrenched Washington bureaucrats and exposing government overreach.
In the press release, Gaetz expressed his excitement about joining OAN’s innovative team, stating, “OAN is blazing a trail in media, embracing not just traditional news but the platforms where Americans are going—streaming, apps, podcasts, and social media.”
The announcement followed the debut of graphics for the show on OAN’s website on Monday, and Gaetz appeared to confirm his new role on social media platform X on Tuesday, thanking a user who posted about the show.
Gaetz had hinted at his continued involvement in politics after stepping down from the Attorney General race last month. He told pro-Trump podcaster Charlie Kirk, “I’m still going to be in the fight, but it’s going to be from a new perch.”
