A Manhattan judge has delayed setting a new trial date for Harvey Weinstein’s sex crimes case until late January 2025. The prosecution will consolidate two cases against Weinstein into one trial, including a retrial of charges for which his conviction was overturned. The defense opposed the consolidation, arguing it was an improper tactic to bolster the credibility of a complainant.
