Trump Leads Harris By 2 Points—But 12% Are Still Deciding

A new Harris poll shows former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by two points in a head-to-head matchup among likely voters, with Trump at 51% and Harris at 49%. This marks a shift from last month when Harris led by four points. In a four-way race including third-party candidates Cornel West and Jill Stein, Trump leads by one point. Without leaners, Trump and Harris are tied at 47% in a four-way race, while Trump leads by one point in a two-way race. The poll indicates the race is highly unpredictable, with a significant portion of voters still undecided. HarrisX CEO Dritan Nesho describes the election as dynamic and competitive, emphasizing the importance of turnout and swing voters. Harris leads by 1.7 points in FiveThirtyEight’s national polling average.
