Democrats maintained their fundraising lead over Republicans in September, with individual Democratic Senate candidates taking a bigger lead. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee outraised its GOP counterpart by $78.9 million, while the National Republican Senatorial Committee raised $29.9 million more than the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The main super PACs for Democrats raised more than their GOP counterparts, with a combined $496.9 million versus $452.1 million. Democrats’ official committees had more cash on hand than Republicans, ending September with $87.3 million compared to Republicans’ $69.9 million. However, Republican super PACs had more cash than Democrats, reporting $265.3 million to Democrats’ $253.8 million.
